Online Trauma Therapy for Westchester Adults: No Commute Required
If you live in Harrison, Rye, White Plains, Scarsdale, or anywhere in Westchester, you do not have to fit a commute into your week to see a trauma specialist.
Many people put off therapy because the logistics feel like one more thing to manage. You already have work, family, and a full calendar. Online sessions remove the drive, the parking, and the waiting room.
What online therapy looks like
I offer online EMDR and trauma therapy and grief therapy for adults across New York State. Sessions happen over a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so you can meet from home, from your office, or from your parked car between commitments.
All you need is a private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer. If you are not sure where to find privacy, we can talk through options before your first session.
Who I work with
I work with adults dealing with:
- Sudden or traumatic loss
- Complex trauma
- Anxiety
- Relationship patterns that keep repeating
These concerns often overlap. Grief after a sudden loss can stir up older experiences. Anxiety can be the way an old trauma shows up in daily life. In therapy, we look at how these pieces connect rather than treating each one in isolation.

Why EMDR can work well online
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) helps your brain process distressing memories so they lose their intensity. Research supports EMDR as an effective treatment for trauma, and it can be delivered effectively over video.
In online EMDR, we use a screen-based form of bilateral stimulation, and you stay in control of the pace. Many clients tell me that being in their own space helps them feel safe enough to do this work.
About your therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified EMDR therapist. My approach is steady and collaborative. We move at a pace your nervous system can handle, and you are never asked to go further than you are ready to.
Is online therapy right for you?
It is a good fit if you want specialized trauma care without rearranging your week. It may not be the right fit if you are in an immediate crisis or need a higher level of care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
If you are unsure, that is exactly what the consultation is for. You can reach out here with any questions first.
